Dave’s Marketplace Makes Donation to North Kingstown Food Pantry
Dave’s Marketplace, a locally owned RI grocery chain has donated $25,000 to the North Kingstown Food Pantry’s Capital Campaign to relocate to the Little Red Schoolhouse.
The North Kingstown Food Pantry has been providing food to residents for over 30 years. The Food Pantry now provides an average of 7500 meals per month. Due to the increase in demand for their valuable services, they have outgrown their present location. The Food Pantry was given the opportunity to lease the Little Red Schoolhouse on School Street, giving the Food Pantry the benefit of a much larger space and more central location to better serve North Kingstown residents.
