9th Annual Warren Folks Festival 2025
August 16, 2025 @ 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Grab your kids, your friends, your dog (yes, really)—and maybe your dancing shoes (or best moves)—because the 9th Annual Warren Folks Festival is back and bigger than ever! Hosted by The Collaborative, this free, family-friendly celebration of local creativity takes place on Saturday, August 16th from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Cutler Mill in Warren, RI.
Expect an unforgettable day of live music, colorful performances, community art, locally made goods, mouth-watering food, and ice-cold craft beer (whew!) With more than 2,000 people expected, this 9th annual summer tradition is one not to miss.
Voted the “Best Locally Produced Festival” by Motif Magazine every year since 2017, and RI Monthly’s 2024 “Best Family-Friendly Festival”, the Folks Fest is where Rhode Island’s creativity and community spirit collide—in the best way possible.
From the foot-tapping sounds of The Afro-Semitic Experience, Free Beer the Band, Polly Bessette, The Whelks, Fools Gold to the mischievous charm of Skip Daniels the Magician, and Ricky Rainbow Beard, and Whale Guitar this year’s music and performance lineup is full of surprises—and soul. With two stages running throughout the day, there’s something for every ear, age, and attention span.
Our open-air art market features an eclectic mix of creators, including Henna by Holly, Cloud Candy Clothing, Talidactyl Art & Design, OneLove, and dozens more. Whether you’re looking for handmade jewelry, wildflower honey, funky prints, or a new favorite ceramic mug, the art vendors at Folks Fest have you covered.
You’ll want to show up with an appetite—because Chomp, La Piñata, Blount Seafood, Wally’s Weiners, Del’s Lemonade, Kristie’s Kraftails, RI Crusin’ Cocktail’s, Mumsies Ice Cream and more are ready to serve up local flavor with a side of festival flair. Ice cream? Yup. Tacos? Absolutely. Something delicious from Tolia? Count on it.
Bring the dog. And your kids. And your neighbor’s. And your fun uncle. This is a true community celebration, where everyone is welcome. Whether you’re here for the music, the art, or the beer—there’s something for everyone (except your cat—sorry, cats). Parking is limited, but good news—we’re on the bus line and just a short walk or bike ride from the East Bay Bike Path. Free bike valet provided by Recycle-A-Bike.
Since 2016, The Collaborative has supported 129 local artists, 56 youth artists, and invested over $26,000 in direct funding for instructors, performers, and artists. Your support helps us keep this magic going.
