Chef Craig Attwood spent his childhood fishing on the south shore of Long Island. In 1995, he graduated from NYIT Culinary School. He then moved to NYC where he worked at many prestigious restaurants including Judson Grill, Indigo and Pico. From NYC, he moved to the Hamptons to open Almond where he was also the sous chef. He has been the Executive Chef at Grill 25 in Great Neck, Patroon, East Hampton Point and Jedediah Hawkins Inn. He is now the Owner/Chef of Five Ocean in Long Beach, NY. This causal restaurant with its patio on the sand and a view of the ocean, is the perfect spot to highlight the abundant local seafood options Long Island has to offer. At Five Ocean, Chef Craig crafts the locavore menu around the fish available from local fishermen drawing attention to some lesser known, but just as delicious local seafood dishes!
