Kate Masury, Masury is the Executive Director at Eating with the Ecosystem, a small non-profit whose mission is to promote a place-based approach to sustaining New England’s wild seafood, through healthy habitats, flourishing food webs, and short, adaptive seafood supply chains.

By fusing together the ecological knowledge of marine scientists and commercial fishermen, the creativity of the region’s most innovative chefs, the know-how of seafood businesses, and the enthusiasm of local seafood lovers, we advance a New England seafood system that supports the region’s marine ecosystems and the people who depend on them.
After the talk, Chef Jon LoPresti will provide a cooking demo with some fresh local fish to show you how easy it is to Eat with the Ecoystem.
