Farm Fresh Rhode Island Local Food Fest 2025

Farm Fresh Rhode Island announces the date of their signature local food event and fundraiser, Local Food Fest. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 4pm-8pm. Local Food Fest is held at Castle Hill Inn’s Chalet Patio and Lawn, which overlooks the stunning Narragansett Bay. The event celebrates the talent of local chefs and growers who work together to transform the local harvest into 20+ seasonally inspired dishes for guests to enjoy. 

“Local Food Fest is Farm Fresh Rhode Island’s yearly fundraiser that supports the work we do to keep local food affordable and accessible. It also highlights the wonderful partnerships we’ve formed with local farmers, food makers, and chefs over the past 20 years. We’re tremendously grateful to the Newport Restaurant Group for generously providing the stunning Castle Hill Inn space for us to hold our event,” said Delite Primus, Director of Advancement for Farm Fresh RI. 

The fundraiser begins with passed champagne and a raw bar, followed by live preparation of tasting dishes. Farms are paired up with chefs to create locally inspired dishes for guests to enjoy as they listen to live music and enjoy views of the Narragansett Bay, paired with local cocktails, beer, and wine. Guests will also benefit Farm Fresh RI throughout the evening with a silent auction and raffle. Tickets are sold in advance only, no tickets are available at the door.
