Newport Cooks – A Vegetarian Valentine’s Day Dinner

Bring your sweetheart, best friend or come solo for this “cooked with love” vegetarian dinner focusing on beautiful presentation and big flavor. We’ll start with Yotam Ottolenghi’s Bittersweet Salad, for what is the true nature of love but bittersweet. Our next menu item is an ingenious, mouthwatering, show stopper, a Beet, Carrot, Parsnip and Goat Cheese Tart Tatin. And for dessert, you’ll be starstruck by rich, decadent Avocado Chocolate Mousse served with a Maple Syrup Raspberry Coulis. In this hands on class, we’ll make each menu item from scratch and learn tips and tricks for cooking delightful vegetarian fare. Class size limited to 8 students. Masks must be worn at all times.
