Newport Cooks The Antipasto Table

Antipasti, the introduction to an Italian meal, goes back to Ancient Rome. Banquets were stated with “Gustum” to stimulate the appetite. Today of course they are called antipasti. Join Chef Frank in building a typical “Antipasto Table”
-Pomodori Ripieni… tomatoes stuffed with herbs and pine nuts
-Crostini… little toasts with various toppings
Carciofi alla Giudea… the famous Jewish fried artichokes of Rome
Involtini di Melanzane…eggplant rolls filled with ricotta
-Cavolini con Pancetta…Brussels Sprouts with pancetta and Balsamic glaze
