Persimmon Under-the-Radar Wines Dinner

Join us for a special educational wine dinner on Wednesday, December 14, as our sommelier, Steffen Rasch, shares a few of his favorite ‘under the radar’ wines. These are the high-quality, under-appreciated wines that get nerds, like Steffen, excited. Together we will explore the history and winemaking traditions of places like France’s Jura and Bouzeron wine regions, Slovenia, and Italy’s hidden gem Umbria. We will also do a deep-dive into the ‘natural wine movement’ and taste a few examples. Intrigued? Guests will get to sample 6 wines, and Champe will pair Steffen’s selections with a special multi-course menu.
The menu will be formatted to complement the wine selections; we recommend having a sense of adventure in regards to ingredients. Please notify the restaurant of major food allergies by Saturday December 10.
