The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar Tilted Barn Brewery Beer Dinner 2026

The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar, located on Sayer’s Wharf in Newport, RI, will host its annual five-course beer dinner featuring Tilted Barn Brewery, on Tuesday, February 17th. The cost is $105.00 per person; tax and gratuity are additional.
The evening will begin with a welcome reception featuring the bold and bright Sea of Stars Double IPA, or a mimosa and a selection of stationary hors d’oeuvres, including Smashed Sunchokes with caramelized sauerkraut cream and smoked trout roe; Dressed Crab Cake with herb salad; and Beet Tartare with persimmon vinaigrette, tarragon, dill, and crostini. Table snacks include Tapioca Crisps with maple sugar and Mustard Pickled Vegetables with carrot, cucumber, fennel, onion, and pepper paired with Lawn Boy, a light, clean, crisp, and refreshing Barn Lager.
Dinner will begin with a Winter Chicory Salad with winter citrus, hazelnut miso vinaigrette, and roasted hazelnuts paired with the Milos Phoenix IPA. This New England-style IPA is fruity, hazy, and juicy with notes of passion fruit, peach, and citrus rinds.
The second course will feature Einkorn Beer Crepes with braised Duroc pork shoulder, roasted pear, and a chestnut mornay sauce, complemented by the notes of passion fruit, berry, tropical and stone fruit in the Snowdrop Wheat IPA.
A chef’s interlude of a Dressed Oyster and Evolve Mixed Fermentation Ale will lead into the evening’s entrée: Braised Bratwurst with beer spaetzle, Honeycrisp apple, hedgehog mushroom, and caramelized cabbage, paired with the dark and roasty Czech-inspired Is This Still Lawn Boy? Dark Brown Lager.Dessert will feature a Buckwheat Tart with dark chocolate, whipped quark, malted beer gastrique, and poached cherries paired with a Holly Belgian Dark Strong Ale. This Belgian Dark Strong Ale is extremely complex and brewed with significant amounts of Belgian candi sugar, inviting notes of caramel, raisin, dark cherry, and fig.
