Westport Rivers 6th Annual Vine to Table Dinner 2024

On Saturday July 20th 2024 Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery will offer our sixth annual unforgettable culinary “Vine to Table” experience at the vineyard. Those of you who attended last year know how special this experience is. This is the PERFECT holiday gift for that special someone, relative, business associate or friend. The event will begin at 6pm as you arrive to a welcome glass of our award-winning sparkling wine while overlooking the beautiful vineyard. The lovely aromas of culinary delights will be in the air. As you enjoy your “bubbly” you’ll visit several stations and enjoy locally sourced delicious meats, cheese and produce. Simultaneously you’ll smell the sustainable, free-range local meats and shellfish being prepared on rotisseries and grills for your meal. Over 15 area farms will provide the ingredients for the numerous delicacies you will enjoy throughout the evening. After enjoying the reception there will be a discussion of the vineyard and welcome from owner Robert Russell. You will then take your seat within the vines at your table and enjoy a gourmet four course dinner paired with exceptional Westport Rivers wines. World class chef Rizwan Ahmed (who earned honors at the Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts, London, England) has sourced everything on the menu from over 15 area farms located within 10 miles of where you will be siting. Chef Riz has 15 years of experience at multiple Michelin star-rated and AAA five diamond restaurants. The menu will be a “foodie” adventure including super fresh local seafood, a plethora of local vegetables, cheeses, fresh baked breads and farm raised sustainable meats.
