Join Eat Drink RI and Keane’s Wood Fired at Blackbird Farm‘s private grove for a local food event all about raising, cooking and eating the best meat possible in today’s world full of buzzwords and trends.

Part farm tour where you can “meet” the animals with Blackbird Farm’s owner Ann Marie Bouthillette, part cooking talk where Eat Drink RI’s David Dadekian will share with you best practices for getting that meat from the farm to your plate, and part dining experience where Keane’s owner Padraic Keane and Executive Chef Brandon Teachout will prepare a multi-course, family-style meal with Blackbird’s beef & pork along with other local ingredients.

As with other Eat Drink RI events, the drink part will be local and delicious as well with options from Revival Brewing Company, The Wine Bros. and Yacht Club Soda.

So come on out for a fall event like no other—FARM FOOD FIRE DRINKS and FUN! (Do you have a good word for drinks that begins with an “F?”.)

The Good Meat Matters! experience begins at 2 p.m. with drinks, a farm tour and conversation followed by a multi-course seated dinner. Due to the limitations of the venue we are regrettably unable to accommodate any alternative menu requests. Thank you in advance for your understanding on this matter. Tickets are $75 and are all-inclusive. In the case of inclement weather, the rain date is one week later on October 27, 2019.
