In January, Eat Drink RI produced the first in a series of Lifestyle Dinners with partners Easy Entertaining Inc., the pioneering farm-to-table caterer, and Rhode Island-based wine importer Magnum Wines International. Since 2006 Chef Kaitlyn Roberts has been serving seasonal, farm-to-table food through her catering company Easy Entertaining Inc., and at The Café at Easy Entertaining in Providence. Her cooking, and the local ingredients she sources, is proof-positive that you can indulge in full, delicious cuisine and be well—and that includes drinking good wine.
Van Potts of Magnum Wines International, dubbed this event wining and dining a Lifestyle Dinner, and he offered five of his finest wines to pair with Chef Roberts’ multi-course meal. Each Lifestyle Dinner is a one-night-only event featuring all-natural, hormone-free, pasture-fed meats along with an assortment of local produce, eggs and dairy, paired with wines.
