Celebrate Downcity 2023 

InDowncity is pleased to announce the return of their annual event Celebrate Downcity 2023 on Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kicking off the holiday season, the event honors local businesses on Small Business Saturday. Celebrate Downcity will be held on Westminster Street–between Eddy Street and Union Street–in downtown Providence, both outdoors and in the adjacent shops and restaurants. Programming will feature food truck favorites, festive music, interactive holiday entertainment, and an indoor Rock and Roll Yard Sale holiday marketplace around the corner.

On Westminster Street itself (while closed to traffic), InDowncity will welcome local food and beverage vendors, including A Mano Pizza and Gelato, Mac Daddy, Farm to Sandwich, and Cultrō. Guests can enjoy outdoor cafe-style seating in the street, listen to holiday music, and pose for photos with Santa and other interactive holiday characters by Ten31 Productions. For those who want to dine indoors, the following restaurants and cafes on and along Westminster Street will be open during the event: Small Point Cafe, Sura, Kleos, Little City Coffee and Kitchen, Serendipity Gourmet, and the Malted Barley.

A block away at 63 Eddy Street, shop at a vibrant and carefully curated indoor Rock and Roll Yard Sale holiday market. Enjoy music, sip drinks by Trinity Brewhouse, and browse records, art, jewelry, and the wares of local vendors. For even more gifts, shoppers can also head inside shops located on Westminster Street, such as Craftland, Queen of Hearts and Modern Love, Symposium Books and Records, The Vault Collective, Civil, Homestyle, and Eno Fine Wines. Each shop offers a variety of unique items, including skateboards, bestselling books, vintage clothing, children’s toys, and housewares.
