Christmas Eve 2023 – Mill’s Tavern

Mill’s Tavern, located at 101 North Main Street in Providence, will celebrate Christmas Eve with a selection of festive menu additions crafted by Executive Chef Ed Bolus and his culinary team. Reservations are available on Sunday, December 24th from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Forreservations, please call 401-272-3331. Guests may begin their meal with Stuffed Shrimp with crabmeat, herbs, and breadcrumbs; Pumpkin Pesto Crostini with burrata cheese and pepita pesto; and a Beet Salad with smoked plum, walnuts, feta, and a honey-citrus vinaigrette, in addition to Mill’s Tavern’s raw bar offerings, including oysters on the half shell, chilled poached shrimp, and Hackleback Sturgeon Caviar.

Entrée specials will feature thinly-pounded Veal Cutlet rolled with King Crab, prosciutto, mushroom duxelle, and mozzarella wrapped in puff pastry; Coq au Vin Blancwith confit pearl onions and wild mushroom conserva over herb truffled risotto; and Surf & Turf featuring Wagyu steak, king crab, and bearnaise sauce.  

Holiday desserts will include Maple Crème Brûlée with speculoos cookies; Dark Chocolate Cremeux with butternut squash cake, Gjetost caramel, brown-butter sage, marshmallow, candied pecans, and pear sorbet; Dulcey Mousse with gingerbread, vanilla-chestnut cream, miso-apple butter, orange-rosemary crumble, and caramel-apple frozen yogurt; Mill’s Sundae: malted vanilla and salted caramel ice creams, espresso fudge, chocolate chip cookie crumble, cardamom-coffee cream, and fudge brownies; and a Seasonal Sorbet Tasting: mandarin-yuzu, pear, and coconut.

Guests celebrating the holiday at Mill’s Tavern can also enjoy seasonal libations such as the White Christmas with Lunazul tequila, the Very Merry with Plantation 3 Star rum, and the Snowman’s Surprise featuring Four Roses bourbon.
