Mother Pizzeria Guest Chef Pizza Oven Takeover with Will Gilson

GET READY FOR A SLICE OF SOMETHING DELICIOUS!

Our Newport kitchen is opening its ovens to a rotating lineup of guest chefs, each bringing their own unique culinary style to pizza. From South Shore bar pizzas from Boston to chefs showcasing their take on sourdough pies, we’ll be hosting these takeovers in October, December and February.

First up: Will Gilson of Puritan & Co.

Featuring: South Shore Bar Pizza – Considered one of Boston’s best-kept secrets, these cult-favorite pizzas are crispy, cheesy and served in unassuming taverns across the South Shore of Boston. 

Will Gilson of Puritan & Company in Boston is known for his awesome New England cooking and restaurants Amba, The Lexington, and Gilson’s Herb Lyceum. He’ll be in the kitchen working up these “burnt edge” pan pies. IYKYK and if you don’t, come and find out!

We’ll be serving Will’s bar pies all night alongside our regular menu and some South Shore-inspired cocktails. Come for the pizza, stay for the party.
