Statewide Forum on Nutrition Security in Rhode Island

You’re invited to join the Rhode Island Department of Health’s Healthy Eating, Active Living (HEAL) program and its community partners for the first-ever Statewide Forum on Nutrition Security in Rhode Island. This free event is your opportunity to learn about the state’s existing nutrition programs and to join the conversation about steps we can take to improve nutrition security for all Rhode Islanders.
When: 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., March 10, 2025 (coffee and lunch included)
Where: Farm Fresh RI Headquarters,10 Sims Avenue, Providence, RI
Who: HEAL Program, the Rhode Island Food Policy Council, Farm Fresh RI, state agencies and engaged community members from across Rhode Island
What: Learn about the impact and future of fruit and vegetable programs in Rhode Island, including Produce Prescription; Bonus Bucks; Eat Well, Be Well; the WIC Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program; and the Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program.
