Mystic Cocktail Classic 2025

This fall, Mystic will host a new destination event for the spirits and hospitality world. The Mystic Cocktail Classic brings together leading voices in cocktails, spirits, and culinary culture for expert-led panels, paired dinners, industry networking, and a national cocktail competition.
Event Highlights:
- Paired Cocktail Dinners + Panels (Fri–Mon) at Via Emilia, The Shipwright’s Daughter, The Port of Call, and The Jealous Monk, featuring Sother Teague, David Wondrich, Shannon Mustipher, and Jackson Cannon.
- Mystic Noank Library Book Fair – Author signings, seminars, mocktails & live music (Sat, Nov 8).
- Late-Night Bar Crawl – Exclusive menus, pop-ups & guest bartender takeovers.
- Industry Meet & Greets – Spirits pros, writers, distillers & bartenders.
CALLING ALL BARTENDERS: ENTER THE MYSTIC COCKTAIL COMPETITION
A national showcase for bartending talent, the 2025 Mystic Cocktail Competition invites submissions in four spirit categories: Liqueur, Gin, Rum, and Whisk(e)y.
- Entry Deadline: September 14, 2025
- 12 Semi-Finalists will be chosen based on creativity, balance, flavor, and presentation.
- 4 Finalists will compete live on November 10 at The Jealous Monk in front of industry judges and a live audience.
Top Prizes Include:
- A trip for two to Barbados + private educational tour of Foursquare Distillery
- Two nights in Brooklyn + private educational tour of Forthave Spirits
- Overnight in Boston + private educational tour of Trillium Brewing & Distilling
- Overnight stay in Mystic + private educational tour of Veritable Distillery
All semi-finalists will also receive a commemorative tee, sponsor gift bags, and a bottle from Veritable Distillery.
Presented by Veritable Distillery, an independent Connecticut-based distillery known for its farm-to-glass philosophy, specializing in small-batch spirits with transparency, quality, and regional character.
