Southside Community Land Trust 3rd Annual Black August Celebration 2024

Experience live storytelling from Raffini, Southside Community Land Trust’s Youth Programs Director and a founding member of the RI Black Storytellers, to commemorate Pan-African liberation movements around the world and in our neighborhoods. The celebration will also feature musicians, spoken word artists, and performances from youth and emerging adults.

While supplies last, enjoy a free farmers market of fresh, seasonal produce grown by farmers of color right here in Rhode Island. We’ll have carrots and squash, collards and kale, and plenty of other farm favorites – all free!
